The vast majority of effective training for volleyball can be summed up with one acronym: M.E.D. - Minimum Effective Dose. Also known as the “Don’t do too much too soon” principle. Training should enhance the body, not debilitate it.
Volleyball is an extremely intense and physically demanding sport with physical stress that scales up very quickly along with the level of play. As such, volleyball training should primarily prepare the body for the demands of the sport, and secondarily rehabilitate the negative effects of being high-impact by nature.. This is increasingly important as players get older - younger players can withstand much more physical stress than older players, and their respective training should reflect that.
Plans are programmed on an 8-week cycle. Each individual training plan will take into account the needs of the player as well as their commitment level and time constraints. *It’s important to note that, for younger players, it will not take much effort to see improvements.* As these plans are tailored heavily to their player’s needs, it may take up to a week (and in some cases longer) to be completed. Please be patient; any and all delays will be communicated in a timely manner.
After the first plan is purchased, all subsequent plans will be 50% of the original purchase price.
